♕ REVIEW ♕ ARC ♕ OUTNUMBERED BY SHAY SAVAGE

TITLE: Outnumbered
AUTHOR: Shay Savage
GENRE: Contemporary
PUBLICATION: April 10th, 2018

‘OUTNUMBERED’: Is a full length contemporary romance novel by Shay Savage. Written in Bishops entire POV

Twenty nine year old Bishop lives off the beaten track, isolated, miles away from civilisation, no electricity to run his cabin, and a cold well which supplies water into the kitchen and bathroom, he lives a life of utter simplicity.

He had lived a solitary life in his cabin for three years with no desire for company which was exactly how he chose to live. A shady past that saw him incarcerated as an adolescent alongside hardened criminals took its toll on Bishop when it came to his ability to socialise with ‘normal’ society.

But that all changes when he encounters a young female seemingly unconscious on the side of the road with a severe snow storm approaching and temperatures to drop he did the only thing he could do..He took her in.

Not used to having anyone in his space his mind would take him down a dark path, unsavory thoughts play rampage on his mind..But slowly Seri breaks down his walls and we see a new man evolve, he goes from Rocky who only spoke a line here or there in movies to a man uttering full sentences.

This was a hard one to review mainly due to Seri’s character, she has many layers to her, many sides that had me reeling wandering which one I was going to encounter on the next page which made for an un-put-down-able…page-turner of a crazy read..

This was like nothing I have ever read before, unique in it’s entirety, as soon as I started I was so drawn into the story I couldn’t put it down. Minutes, seconds, hours ceased to exist. This author has such an uncanny knack when it comes to her story telling where we're transported outside of our normal lives into the wonderful world she has created.

God what a crazy crazy ride this one was, completely different to what one would normally expect from this author...But in a good way. It's out of the box unique..

I’m not exactly the social type. After spending most of my formative years in prison, I prefer an isolated existence in the wilderness of Canada’s Northwest Territories, making what little cash I need guiding tourists to the best hunting grounds. I have no desire for company; I crave solitude instead, especially during the subarctic winter months, but what am I supposed to do when I come across a woman in distress? I can’t just leave her to die in the cold, and a storm is on the way.

So now we are confined to my secluded cabin, and I quickly realize there’s something not quite right about Seri—or is her name Netti? She switches moods faster than a snowshoe hare changes direction. In fact, I’m starting to think there’s more than one person behind the mystifying woman’s intense, green eyes.

Physically, only two of us are trapped inside the rustic cabin, but I still feel outnumbered.

Savage’s books many books span a wide variety of topics and sub-genres with deeply flawed characters. From cavemen to addicts to hitmen, you’ll find yourself falling for these seemingly irredeemable characters!
