THE FLIGHT OF HOPE: Is a gut wrenching full length contemporary romance novel by H.J. Bellus.

Kick starting us off in the ‘Prologue’ the author has set the stage up for an emotional heart breaking read.

In this we meet tomboy Marlee aka Birdie and her best friend Bentley Foster, two childhood friends that loved each other even before they knew or understood what love meant, we see them as youngsters fishing at their favourite place at the pond, to their senior years at high school, to newly weds.

Bentley never made it a secret that after their graduation he’d be following in his father's footsteps and enlisting in the Army which has been a lifelong dream of his.

Marlee has always had that fear in the back of her mind that one day he’d never come back home to her.

Their connection, their love oozes off the pages, the feels that rush at you as your on the same ride as Marlee as she falls in love with her best friend, their struggles to conceive, their fears, her gut wrenching heart break as she loses the man who mean't the world to her and a tether that would've held her strong through the most harrowing ordeal any person could endure but sadly in the same blink of an eye that life was lost to her also.

Marlee takes off and heads to a small town where no one knows her name, her back ground, her loss and it's here where she slowly heals and meets another man who steals her breath away, signs that maybe Bentley hasn't finished with her just yet. Fight for your life, live Birdie

Where there is love there is also heartbreak and along with Marlee we also suffer in silence as we clutch those soggy tissues to our hearts as we're put on another collision course of falling tears..

MY THOUGHTS: God this book destroyed me!! Reading reviews getting told to have tissues on the ready so many have told me that in the past and I've not taken it seriously because the book that made them all teary eyed left me dry as a bone. But this book I swear to god gutted me.
I hit the spot where she's the survivor of a tragic accident and the author didn't really go into too much detail and I was thinking no no no go back, let me enjoy this heartbreaking moment naively thinking this was the part that everyone was going on about with the tissues how wrong could've I have been because blow me to China and back she came at me like a hurricane and I cried and cried like a new born baby.
But how she did this was pure genius because instead of us riding that emotional train we rode a tsunami hit after hit.
This book swept me along on the highs and lows of life, of love, of survival, I laughed, I giggled, I swooned, I cried, everything this author wanted me to feel I felt right down to my soggy tissues.
Sit back, get some tissues a bottle of wine on the ready and be prepared to feel!!

All roads in life...no matter where I've been or where I'm going...every single one will always lead me back to you. In this and every life after.

‘CORRODE’: Is the second instalment in Elle Fields ‘Surface Rust Series’ and is spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives’

The story starts off with Felix finally being released from his stint in prison, whilst incarcerated the only ones who visited him were his brother and Sam, leaving a big gap where his Doe should’ve been. He’s not seen or heard from her in months, or even seen his son.

But he’s not ready to let her go so easily.

Then the story jumps back into the past, back to where it all began, back to when they first met, back to when it all started falling down around their ears like a domino effect.

Maggie comes from a blue collar hard working family, attends school and is a straight laced student, until she decides to follow her bestie to a party, not just any party, but a party being held on the other side of town. It’s here where she meets Felix, the hot bad boy. Things escalate quickly with these two, a whirlwind romance that quickly turns to an undeniable soul mate kind of love that bounces off the pages into your heart.

Things were going so well for them, they were saving for their own home, both hard working, until a tragedy turned their worlds upside down and Felix changed in the blink of an eye, Maggie was put on the back burner whilst he spiralled out of control drinking and partying all hours of the night.

To a pink line on a white stick announcing that Maggie is pregnant at the age of twenty-six. Neither are in a good place financially to afford a baby. But embrace being pregnant like lovers should.

Life happened in unpredictable waves, and we just had to keep swimming above the surface. A slong as we had each other, we wouldn't sink.

A one time job falls into Felix’s lap neither knew what the consequences would be, though the fear in the back of Maggie’s mind of the possibility of Felix getting caught made her step back in the hopes he’d come to his senses but to no avail. Months in prison await Felix, a soul crushing decision to put them ahead in life damaged what future they could've enjoyed as a couple.

He may have made us fall apart, but without meaning to, I scattered our broken pieces.

But slowly rising up from the ashes of a broken relationship these two realise that what they had was a once in a lifetime love.

This book was one of my most highly anticipated books that I wanted to get my grabby little hands on and Ella Fields did not disappoint, second chance romances are my kryptonite, done right they are my biggest weakness and Ella did this perfectly, the angst, heart break, forgiveness swept me up in the pages of the highs and lows of Maggie's and Felix's love from their break up to their make up.

Holy shit!! I feel like I've been pulled through a hedge backwards, and probably look like it too!! God this book! At the start of this I went in with eyes wide open, at the end of it I came away loving two men! This book made me feel so much, I cried, I laughed, I loved, I swooned, I listened as I got carried away in the music that accompanied this book. I felt everything this book threw at me. A LITTLE TOO LATE: is a is a full-length standalone contemporary romance novel by Staci Hart and is spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives’

In this we meet Charlie Parker a thirty something man, a handsome successful attorney, working over eighty hours a week, a single father left to raise two small children alone after his wife walked out months ago had left Charlie barely hanging on by a thread. So to say he needs help is an understatement. Charlie hasn't had an easy path.

To find out your life is a lie, your marriage a sham...the rug was pulled, and it sent me tumbling down the stairs in slow motion. I didn't know how to deal with it. So, I worked. I worked and worked and left the kids with the nanny and pretended like everything was ok.

Twenty-two year old Hannah has recently moved from Holland to the USA to follow her best friend, her first job as an au pair didn’t go so well, she'd left in a hurry with no other job prospects lined up, and was in trouble of losing her visa so when the opening came up at the Parker's residence she breathed a sigh of relief. But due to what she'd encountered at her last nanny job to say she had feelings of trepidation when it came to her new position as a nanny to Charlie's children Sammy & Maven, was an understatement. But meeting Charlie all her fears were put to rest.

She brings light and laughter he brings stolen glances and timid touches.

Slowly like a bear that's been hibernating half it's life Hannah slowly awakens something in Charlie, he's got a spring in his step, he cuts hours off his workload, slowly he becomes a true father to his kids with Hannah right beside him all the way.

Hannah was everything I'd ever been looking for, someone kind, someone who put others above themselves. Someone who smiled, in found joy and beauty in the world.

She was everything his ex wife wasn't.

They were day and night, the angel and the devil. And I knew I would find salvation in Hannah's arms just as I'd found hell in Mary's.

Throw in some drama, some fevered nights between the sheets and you've got yourself one sexy, sweet read.

I was transported to another land where I could almost taste the sweet treats Hannah made, I loved the Dutch language incorporated into the story, I've not read many by this author but ones I have read I've thoroughly enjoyed, she always throws a little bit of herself into the stories she brings us. Can't wait to see what she brings us next.

FALLING FAST: Is a stand alone contemporary romance novel by Aurora Rose Reynolds and is spoken in 'Dual Perspectives' In this we meet Gia and Colton

Imagine Gia Caro's surprise when she gets an urgent phone call at Day Dreamers Daycare where she teachers requesting that she come and see her Grandmother who is suffering from vascular dementia and is deteriorating fast. Gia was under the impression her Grandmother had passed away ten years ago. Uprooting from her teachers job in Chicago and leaving her best friend Natasha behind she makes her way to Tennessee, to take care of her Grandmother and make up for all those years lost to them.

Not long living in a new town and paying for odd jobs to be done around her Grandmother's house her funds are dwindling so she heads to an interview at the 'Rusty Rose' expecting to be interviewed by Rose the owner but is instead interviewed then hired by her son, her hot son Colton.

Colton is an ex marine who was shot up pretty bad and looked like he may never have the use of his legs again, hard work and determination he was back to the man he was.

One look at Gia and Colton was on a quest to make her his, she's the one, the one he's been waiting for.

True to the statement of the title, these two fall fast, first encounter you can feel the pages sizzling with their attraction, that first look, that first touch, everything is done at top speed.

This book was gorgeous as soon as I started reading it I was hooked, I loved both characters, Colton with his alpha male bossiness had me lapping up all his scenes and Gia who could hold her own when he became too much, I enjoyed the secondary characters and am hoping that's who the next book is about. I've not read many of this authors books but that really has to change because I really really enjoyed this one..

FOREVER RIGHT NOW: Is a standalone contemporary romance novel by new to me author Emma Scott.

Darlene Montgomery is ready to start a new chapter in her life and leave her addiction well behind her by leaving New York and moving to a whole new city. She’s landed a job in a prestigious massage parlour and maybe just maybe dancing will reappear back in her life.

Her first encounter with her hot neighbour doesn't go as well as one would expect, he was a total jerk but Darlene being who she is didn't let that bring her down, she looked beyond his demeanor and saw a guy struggling to juggle life with a young daughter who he dotes on.

A slow burn romance, a fire cracker tornado upends Sawyer's life and it's never the same again. Endearing characters that make space in your heart. An unputdownable read.

God this was so good!! You are in for such an epic rollercoaster of an emotional journey that will grip you by the heart from the very beginning right up until that very last page!!
I am not ashamed to admit that a few times tears escaped during this, the emotional pull on all my heart strings were pulled taught.

You could see this story unfolding to so many people in life that's how real this came across. Nothing was over the top or over written, it flowed ceaselessly.
This is a book worth savouring, seconds, minutes, hours all ceased to exist, life outside this book carried on whilst I was lost within the pages of everything this author threw at me and that is a talent many authors don't pull off, my mind was focused fully on this book.

♕ REVIEW ♕ ARC ♕ HUSH BY NICOLE HART

TITLE: Hush
AUTHOR: Nicole Hart
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
PUBLICATION: October 25th, 2017
Image and video hosting by TinyPic photo KATS REVIEW_zpslhwnygdd.jpg
3.5 STARS

The reason why I signed up for this and it being one of my anticipated books for October was the cover, the synopsis doesn't give much away so you kind of don't have much to go on.

HUSH:  Is a standalone contemporary romance novel by new to me author Nicole Hart.

Rachael and her younger sister Sara live in a life of constant fear, always fearing that they will anger their step father, no matter what they try and do to keep out of his way he always finds ways to unleash his incredible temper on them. Their mother takes the brunt of his anger but Rachael wishes with all her might that he’d just die or never come back from wherever he disappears to for weeks on end.

The dynamics within the family is hard to understand, the mother either turns a blind eye to the goings on within the household or she just doesn't know. They all live on tenterhooks when he's around, but once he's doing god knows what their mother becomes depressed, crying, pacing the floors until he arrives back home, for what? to face more abuse. Hard to understand or even comprehend.

Rachael's only constant in her life is her best friend Jackson who she'd known since elementary school who suffered a similar upbringing to her so they share a bond that gives them strength to battle through their daily lives.

But still you don't really feel their love or bond.

Then the story takes a huge jump (and you wonder what happened the years in between, twelve years later - Aged 26)

The twist in the story seemed unthought out, it didn't really in the large scheme of things make a hell of a lot of sense, undeveloped plot twist that didn't really go any where.

This starts off with the heroine being relatively young, not even in her teens but too swiftly jumped up through the ages as the story progressed.
There were also too many gaps within the story and you kind of wished the author had elaborated more on certain scenes before jumping onto the next.
I loved the backbone of this story but in some places it just felt too rushed, with these gaps in the story it threw up so many questions that were never answered. But all in all there were some parts of this book that I really really enjoyed, the love between the two sisters, how Sara was such a nervous child to a complete flip of a switch to being a tough sailer talking character which we never saw when she was younger. I loved this new side to her.

♕ REVIEW ♕ ARC ♕ REWRITE BY STEPHANIE ROSE

Before going into this I sneaky peaked at the reviews, and one after the other, boom boom boom was an army of 5 stars staring at me, finishing this I can fully understand why!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

REWRITE: Is a standalone contemporary romance novel by new to me author Stephanie Rose. ‘Spoken in Dual Perspectives’

Once upon a time... I wish I could rewrite our story, I'd fix it so I'd never lose him in the first place, and we'd never hurt anyone on our way back to each other.

THEN: In this we meet Josh Falco and Brianna who have been best friends since they were just five years old. Even then they felt a love they couldn’t comprehend or understand, the minute he stood up for her and punched a fellow class mate she was smitten. For him it was the simple task of sharing her lunch with him daily she fast became his cupcake!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

She took care of me from the beginning, when I didn't have a mother to pack me a real lunch for school. I probably loved her even then; I just didn't know what the hell it was.

THIRTEEN YEARS OLD: Josh was spiralling out of control, not turning up to school, fighting, doing underhanded deals to keep him and his father afloat saw him rubbing shoulders with the wrong crowd.

Josh and I were together, the rest of the world faded away.

EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD: A sullen angry teen with a chip on his shoulders. To save Brianna he had to walk away, but to save himself he enlisted in the military solely to avoid jail time, telling Brianna to forget about him was his biggest regret in life.

"Do us both a favour. Just move on. Go to prom, go to college, have a good life without me around to ruin it for you. Forget about me Cupcake."

TO NOW: Both twenty eight years old. She’s moved on and in a long term committed relationship, now he’s back to run his uncle's motorcycle shop and making something of himself, the time has finally come for him to claim his girl. But is he too late?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

He’d cleaned up his life but still looked every inch the bad boy. Tattoos covered his arms from his biceps to his wrists. His hair was buzzed short with a couple of days stubble covering his cheeks. But he had the same twinkling eyes and crooked smile as the five year old boy who stole my heart.

This exceeded all my expectations, it wasn’t just about two childhood friends reconnecting after years apart, it was so so much more, these two were soul mates, the highs and lows just made them stronger even though distance kept them apart. They shared an undeniable bond like no other, breakable when younger but unbreakable once they knew what they had was worth fighting for.
I had so many emotions running through my blood stream with this, I giggled, I swooned, I fell so hard for these two and even though this was my first read by this author the way she pulled me into their story so effortlessly this book won’t be the last I read of hers. Truly amazing!!
I devoured this, I savoured this, I inhaled this, I freaking LOVED this, I highly highly recommend this!! Think you’ve read a friends to lovers book before? Think again!! This is by far the best of the best, I can’t gush about this book enough, an unputdownable read!!
