I've read and loved every single book I've had the pleasure of reading by this author who fast became one of my favourites.

This book is all kinds of f#cked up one minute your warming up to drake then the next you're reading the antics of a monster, like a tap he goes from cold to hot, flicks from light to dark in a blink of an eye. From chilly to gritty from the beginning of the book right up until half way when he claims her as his.
Do you know what happens when you rattle an animals cage for years and then suddenly let him in?
And she rattles it any chance she gets just to see how far she can push him before he snaps.
POSSESSION:This kicks starts us off to a gritty start in the ‘Prologue’ where we’re introduced to Evelyn in a seedy hotel room on the verge of giving up her virginity to a stranger knowing deep down that this is not the way she wants to lose it but feels as though she’s been forced into this situation even though her virtue has been promised to a man she has known for six years.
This flits from past to present which gives us a deeper connection into Evelyn’s background, the lack of love her parents felt for her, treating her like a trophy that can be easily sold which is exactly what they did due to the fact of nearly going bankrupt.
Only Drake, my parents, and I know about this stupid deal that was made behind my back at the tender age of fourteen.
From an early age Evelyn has been promised to Drake Salvator, he started showing an obsessive interest in Evelyn at the age of twelve. Her heart and mind was always in turmoil whenever it came to Drake, he offered her safety and comfort and always felt like her like was semi bearable with him in it. Once she reaches eighteen she will be swiftly moved out of her family home and into his.
He’s the only one who has looked after me since I was twelve. He’s the only person who’s made sure I’ve been looked after. He’s the only person who has kept me safe.
But on the other hand he stole her freedom, just like her parents he treated her like an object. And like any young teenager she strived to break free and live a life not ruled by one man.
Some aspects of this story are dark, then go that wee bit darker so be prepared to have your heart and mind in turmoil.
I've tried to not give too many spoilers away in my review, the only suggestion I can give is go in blind, it's about half way where it starts getting all kinds of crazy, you'll see a different side of Drake that you've not seen up until now.
